“The National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. ® (NMSDC®) provides a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned businesses.  NMSDC is one of the country’s leading business membership organizations. It was chartered in 1972 to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes.”
“Carolinas MSDC (or the Council) is a membership organization of major corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, and universities that operate within North or South Carolina. It promotes and facilitates the development of business relationships between its members and certified minority-owned business enterprises. The Council works to expand business opportunities for minority-owned companies in an effort to build a stronger, more equitable society by supporting and promoting minority business development.”
“The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.”
The Healthcare Suppliers Diversity Alliance works to promote supplier diversity in the healthcare supply chain. The HSDA aims to gain an understanding of how HSDA subscribers incorporate supplier diversity into their business practices and how businesses may better work with these organizations.
