President and CEO
Sam Kumar is President and CEO of MYCO Medical, and since founding the company in 1993, he has been responsible for strategic vision, leadership, and corporate management. Sam’s vision for MYCO is to bring Reliability, Innovation, and Value to the healthcare industry with a wide variety of physician preference products, including OR products, wound closure products, sharps safety devices, blood collection and infusion products, and endomechanical devices. MYCO boasts global sourcing capabilities that include exclusive representation for eight offshore medical device manufacturers with combined annual revenues of $350 million. By partnering with these affiliates, Sam continues to develop MYCO Medical as the turnkey solution to distributing medical devices into North America.
Sam earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from NC State University.
Raniel has extensive experience managing multimillion-dollar accounting, finance, and revenue operations with companies such as General Electric, Hoechst-Celanese, and Time Warner Cable. His competencies include design of short- and long-term financial plans, financial problem solving, and project/program management. In his last role, Raniel was responsible for providing financial and project leadership on a $30million dollar U.S. Department of Defense program.
Raniel graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and holds an active State of North Carolina CPA license. Raniel is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Tim has been a member of the management team at MYCO since 2010. As Quality Manager, he works closely with both our internal and external customers to assure customer feedback on the quality of our products is communicated to our factories around the world. Tim has over 20 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality working with a variety of industries, with most of his experience spent in the U.S. automotive industry. Tim honed his skills in problem solving and process improvement working with the Heavy Truck division of Daimler AG, and earned a Green Belt in Six Sigma while there. He earned certification as an ISO 9001:2003 auditor from Daimler, has completed ISO 13485 Lead Auditor Training , and is a member of the American Society for Quality.
Tim is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the MYCO Quality System, which is compliant with U.S. FDA regulations and also promotes compliance to these regulations to all foreign manufacturers which supply MYCO. Tim is dedicated to efficient work solutions and supports smart business through continuous improvement.
Tim received his Bachelor’s degree in Design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and studied Business at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
Jackie joined the MYCO management team in 2011. She has over 15 years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations in a variety of industries with companies such as Cooper, Varian, Honeywell, and Eaton. While working in the automotive and aerospace industries, Jackie gained experience in lean manufacturing and project management, and she also earned a Green Belt in Six Sigma. She has extensive experience implementing ERP systems and is a super user in Oracle, SAP R/3, and SAP B1. Jackie is skilled at managing critical relationship in the supply chain with a focus on continuous improvement. She has a proven track record of “right sizing” inventory levels while improving on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and customer responsiveness.
Jackie graduated from St. Norbert College with a double major in International Business and Spanish.
Human Resources Manager
Molly Pendse is responsible for the leadership, development, and implementation of MYCO’s Human Resources strategies and policies. She has a diverse background with Human Resources leadership experience in entrepreneurial healthcare companies, hospital and healthcare systems, and large, multi-specialty physician practices. Her areas of expertise include talent acquisition and management, establishing HR metrics and benchmarks, and the development of compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent. Before coming to MYCO, Molly held Human Resources roles with Delphi Healthcare Partners, Legacy Health System, Pacific Medical Group, and Paychex. Molly is SPHR certified and holds a Master’s Degree in Health and Public Administration from Portland State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Lewis and Clark College.
