Giving back to our community is a core value at MYCO Medical. Our commitment to safe products and medical devices that improve patient care extends well beyond a hospital or physician’s office.
- The highlight of MYCO’s “giving back” campaign was a $100,000 donation in surgical supplies to the Haiti Relief Fund in 2010, 2011, and most recently in August 2013.
- In May 2013, MYCO Medical donated spinal needles to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists in support of the Jack Neary Advanced Pain Management Workshop. This workshop provides a combination of didactic content and guided hands-on lab experience for interventional pain management techniques.
- MYCO Medical also established a scholarship fund in 2011 with the Association of Pre-Operative Nurses (AORN) to enable students to attend the annual conference, a major educational platform for anyone in the nursing field.
- Over the last few years, MYCO Medical has also made contributions to local organizations, including North Carolina Arts in Action, CORA Food Pantry, The Stony Brook Foundation, The Rallay Foundation, Western Wake Crises Ministry, Children’s Flight of Hope, and the Durham Rescue Mission.
