Consistency
Automatic Grinding Fixtures are computer controlled and optimized for a particular blade configuration, preventing lot to lot variation.
Our proprietary polishing and de-burring process ensures superior surface finish and a "clean" cutting edge.
Packaging
GLASSVAN® Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel and Specialty Blades are individually foil packaged with two strips of VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) Paper. This inhibits rusting, and greatly enhances packaging strength. Samples are continuously selected from each lot during production and tested under a vacuum to test seal integrity and ensure that all products are shipped sterile.

FDA Compliance
Our manufacturing facilities are periodically audited by the FDA for GMP compliance. We are an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer and our products carry the prestigious CE mark. Product inspection and packaging is done in Class 100,000 certified clean rooms. Bio-burden and sterility testing is done on each production lot by a fully equipped independent Quality Assurance Facility.
Traceability
Lot numbers are clearly identified on both box packages and the individual foil packages. Batch records are maintained to ensure that products can be traced throughout the distribution chain. Should a product be defective, recalls are easily accomplished. |
